Lepido Rocco Foundation hosts its roots in the Professional School founded in 1905 by Professor L. Rocco, educator and historian of extraordinary knowledge. The original mission was, and still is, to provide youngsters and adults with technical-practical education and knowledge through the training concept “learning by doing”. The aim is to concretely respond to the changing demands of the labour market and the VET system, and, together with a strong local, national and international network, support the digitization of the Healthcare system.

The Fundación del Hospital Nacional de Parapléjicos is a non-profit foundation in charge of the Hospital’s involvement in research projects. The Hospital Nacional de Parapléjicos is a reference center in Spain for the integral rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injury (SCI). The main goal of the hospital is to improve the life and facilitate the functional recovery of SCI patients, as well as any other lesions at the central nervous system, through advances in multidisciplinary research.

El Hospital Nacional de Parapléjicos es un centro de referencia nacional para la rehabilitación integral de pacientes con lesión medular. El principal objetivo del hospital es mejorar y facilitar la recuperación de pacientes con lesión medular así como con otras patologías relacionadas con el sistema nervioso central, mediante avances en investigación multidisciplinar.
